Mixing
As any mixing engineer will tell you, mixing is as much art as science.
Its not mystic or magic though.

Mixing engineers are often very talented people, with the music running through their veins.

With an ear for detail, more than often can be producers on their own right too.

Mixing therefore is surely something that you need experience to achieve world class standards.

And as with anything "hands-on", in order for one to be considered an expert professional, must have at least ten thousand hours of experience on it.

Mixing is indeed a beautiful part of the recording chain process. It is were everything falls into place after hours of hard work recording; The careful balance of the instruments, of the frequencies of the music and the dynamics of the song, all need to be considered and meticulously analyzed and taken care off, in order to give a result of a song that will always make the audience find some new excitement or aural adventure or emotion.

Having done the recording of your magnus opus, mixing comes next and its very important to get it right.

I have mixed countless songs of the most genre-defying artists and I can certainly tackle any well recorded mix.
