I've left my home town of Veria in Greece, at the tender age of 18 with just two suitcases in order to study Electronic Engineering, make music and have career in UK.
First memories I have is taking the tube from Heathrow to Finsbury Park and dragging my stuff across Seven Sisters Road.
I was fed up with the narrow-mindedness of my small town and her ways. I was frustrated with what was going on with my two bands.
As all 18 yr old kids had to try my luck in a big place.
Explore and do things on my own terms. (or so I thought!) I've been involved in music ever since.
Its love. I've set up gigs in my university's club. I DJ'd there. I recorded bands in my bedroom -mainly of friends- i've recorded my band too... I 've fallen in love with the process.
When we were in the studio to record our songs, the possibilities! woah! It has been more than 14 years that i've been doing this.
I've met the most extraordinary people! I loved every single moment of it! Meeting and working for Robert Plant and Paul McCartney was mind blowing.
I could have never imagined it! But the process of recording and mixing an artist is where the magic is for me! I'm a big fan of working in a hybrid set up, a bit of the old large format analog consoles and a bit of the software side. I start a mix in Pro Tools with cleaning tracks, edits, automation and perhaps a few stems and then I send everything to a big SSL Duality or SSL G+ desk, through some tasty outboard and mix from there!
