Artist:
Marmaduke Dando.

Job:
Recording & Mixing Engineer.

Category:
Mixing, Recording.

In detail:

Recording & mixing the albums: "Heathcliffian Surly", "Sweet Dregs", and the forthcoming "Where the Wasteland Ends" (2'' tape).

One of the most important aspects when recording with Marmaduke Dando is to capture of a great live band performance on to tape. 24 track 2 inch tape. All the band live with no overdubs.
The "Sweet Dregs" album was crowd-funded via Indiegogo and this was a success. We recorded in a great studio (Strongroom in Shoreditch) into 2'' tape via a Neve VR and Studer A800 tape machine. Some songs needed strings, so we hired a string quartet to play -The Elysian Quartet - and a composer (Jeremy Radway) to write and arrange the score.
Man, it was beautiful! That what producing albums is all about! Happy times!
