Thom Ntinas is a sound mixer and engineer that I've known since 2002 in London, UK. Thom is fortunate to be both an excellent musician and a superb engineer, bringing his sonic expertise to every project he touches. He did the mastering on my 2010 album ("Flow" by Ichigatsu,) which was challenging, since it had been recorded over two years and with many different systems, computers, mics and locations. During the mastering process, he was in constant contact with me about the mastering, making important suggestions about the recordings and how they could be improved. On his advice, I made some adjustments to two of the songs and the final result was much improved. I currently live in the US, and it was just as easy to work with Thom from a distance as it would have been had I been in the UK. He is an attentive communicator.

I highly recommend Thom as a unique sound engineer who understands the subtlety and nuance of sound and recording. He has an ear that appreciates and respects many different realms of music, balanced with a head for precision and exactitude. Music comes alive in Thom's hands.

  5. Despite the physical nightmare inducing music, along with the endless tweaks and post-midnight sessions, Thom surpassed our expectations with unequivocal grace. He can undoubtedly hear if a pin drop is off key, at 20 paces, in another room, full of gabling geese, with kazoos. Thom comes highly recommended from The Knievel Dead.

  6. Thom has engineered on many occasions for us and we don't like to gig without him! Thom helps both with front of house sound and with on stage monitors and it's great knowing that someone has got our back for what is a very complex set up, mixing both acoustic and electronic instruments and live drums. On the occasions when we have had to use the house engineer, Thom has been on hand to advise with levels and setting up the desk. Having Thom on board allows us to concentrate on our performance rather than worrying about how things sound out front!
